Cleo and Seeker - Hawks / Kahu

We have two Hawks available Cleo and Seeker who can body double each other. These are a native NZ Harrier.

The Red-billed Gull is a native of New Zealand. It is found throughout the country but most commonly seen around the shore line. 

Shown is a Female Mallard duck, the males have a different colour pattern. Mallards have been introduced to New Zealand. They are commonly seen around parks with lakes. Mallards are the ducks we all grew up feeding bread to at the park.

Ruru is a native New Zealand Morepork, she was found on the ground as a chick with no sign of her mother. Bird rescue took her in and hand raised her so she is extremely tame and will happily sit on your hand, shoulder or even head.

She started her career with a bang working with Oscar award winning actress Sally Hawkins in the Romantic comedy 'Love Birds'.

Ruru is a small bird standing about 20mm high. She has an amazing presence about her and is very precious. Ruru is guaranteed to captivate you with her big curious eyes.

Arny is a real character and was born to be a star. He loves the camera and will do almost anything for a yummy mealworm.

Arny came to us to star in the movie Love Birds with Rhys Darby, who Arny fell in love with while filming.

He is trained to do many tricks suck as walking over to a mark or a touch stick, eye lines, beak movements as though talking on command, pecking a target or a worm in a bath! He will happily be carried in a man bag or box as seen on Love Birds and he is very comfortable around large crews and sets.

Rainbow Lorikeets are the clowns of the bird world, cheeky mischeivous and definately fun loving. They keep their owners fully entertained with their playful antics.
